Location is great in the very heart of the city facing the theatre, facilities are really good, breakfast was fabulous. Staff went above and beyond. Above average and probably the best in Craiova.

Convenient, clean, really friendly staff who were very accommodating with room service for my disabled mother. The staff were very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. There was a good choice of continental breakfast options, cereals, juice and hot drinks.

The hotel is perfectly located in the town center. The rooms are very clean, quiet and elegantly furnished. The staff are professional and friendly. I would highly recommend the breakfast. A lot of choice and the food was delicious. We also had a great dinner at restaurant La Papanu, which is conveniently located at the back of the hotel. Big portions, very tasty, amazing service! We even had a chat with a very pleasant young man from Nepal, who served our food. My total rating of our stay in Splendid 1900 and La Papanu is 10/10!

*Fantastic location to explore the town. We were there for the Christmas market and the hotel was only a few steps away from the first of the markets. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. *The room was large, clean and beautifully appointed. The bed was big and comfortable. Robes were provided, along with decent toiletries. Large flat screen TV, fridge and coffee machine in the room. We had a view over the ferris wheel of the Christmas market, which was very pretty. Despite the central location, we didn't hear any noise at night. *The general decor of the hotel was nice. It felt surprisingly luxurious. *Breakfast was excellent. Huge selection of cheeses/meats along with a few self service hot options.Coffee and juice were of a good quality. *WiFi was strong and there was a safe in the room.

We probably got the most amazing hotel room in the entire Craiova. It was large and very well designed, elegant and glamorous, with huge windows that generously let light in and a great comfortable bed. I can't remember the last time we stayed in such an amazing place.

I liked the location: near to city centre and Christmas Market. The breakfast had plenty options to choose from. The room size was decent for a family with one kid.

the location was amazing. When you step out of the hotel door, you were at the Christmas market. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good and presented elegantly.

It have a car parking area. It is in the middle of the city center. Perfect location. Perfect staff.
